Who I Am

I am a power electronics researcher and engineering professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in power conversion systems — from resonant converter design mathematics to high-volume production realities. My work spans EV charging architecture, telecom power infrastructure, UPS systems and capacitor reliability research.

I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from VIT University, specialising in capacitor health monitoring using artificial neural networks — published in Springer JEET. As an IEEE Senior Member, I contribute to the Power Electronics Society (PELS) and Industrial Electronics Society (IES) through peer review, chapter leadership and conference participation across India.

This website and its free engineering calculators are my contribution to the student and engineering community. Teaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge through IEEE events, academic guest lectures and this platform is something I am deeply committed to.

Developed UPS systems from 1kVA to 20kVA. Led testing using 8D methodology, PDCA/DMAIC quality checks. Guided a team of 5 engineers. Won Best Practices Award (2011) and Best Promising Newcomer Award (2010).
